Dig deeper into the WHY of rootED?

There is a beautiful passage in my faith tradition that speaks to the heart of rootED.  The passage says something like this: Jesus is the vine.  God, his father, is the gardener.  The gardener cuts off every branch that doesn’t bear fruit.  And a branch can’t bear fruit by itself.  It needs the vine.  Without the vine, it can’t do anything but wither up and die.  For grapes, those vines are deeply rooted.  Although 60% of grape vines sit in about 24 inches of soil, the roots can grow over 20 feet deep.  Those roots need great soil to thrive.  Those branches need pruning to bear good fruit.  And I love great fruit of the grape vine!

There are so many consultants out there.  What makes them “bear fruit” in comparison to others?  When you work with rootED know this:  We are rootED in best practices that lead to growth.    As a Standards for Excellence ® Licensed Consultant, I aim to raise the level of accountability, transparency, and effectiveness of all nonprofit organizations to foster excellence and inspire trust. The Standards for Excellence ® provide a framework and step-by-step guidelines to achieve a well-managed and responsibly governed organization.  In all area of work, you will be rootED in benchmarks and measures that provide a structured approach to building capacity, accountability, and sustainability in your organization.

But that isn’t all.  As rootED consultants, we are rootED in faith that upholds the dignity of all people.  We believe in setting up practices that promote diversity, equity and inclusion.  We work for social justice.
